Ward Smith
PASTOR
Ward Smith is a 1984 graduate of Tennessee Temple University, where he met his wife, Cheryl. After serving in youth ministry and completing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University, he spent several years in evangelistic ministry before serving as a youth and assistant pastor in Colorado.
In 2001, God called Ward and his family to plant Grace Baptist Church in Parker, Colorado, which began with ten founding families and became independent within a year. He later earned a Doctorate of Sacred Ministries in 2006 and is blessed with his children: Bethany, Tiffany, Nathan, Stacy, and Katy, remembering also their daughter Stephany, who went home to be with the Lord in 1991.
Dave Hine
PASTOR
Dave, a native of Indiana, was raised on a farm by faithful Christian parents. He studied at Purdue University before earning degrees from Bob Jones University in Physical Education and Pastoral Studies, along with a seminary degree from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Jackie, are blessed with two children, Josiah and Victoria.
Dave has served in youth ministries, Christian camps, a local church pastorate, and in Bible college student life. After seven years pastoring in Clemson, South Carolina, God led the Hines family to Colorado to serve at Grace Baptist Church of Parker, where his passion is making disciples and fulfilling the Great Commission.
Jake Hilton
ASSISTANT PASTOR
Jake, originally from Maine, enlisted in the Army National Guard at 17 with a desire to serve Christ and share the gospel. During Bible college, his passion for ministry deepened, and he later graduated from Bob Jones University in 2023 with a degree in Ministry and Leadership.
He married his high school sweetheart, Oliyshia, who now teaches at a local Christian school. In May 2023, Jake joined the staff at Grace Baptist Church as a full-time assistant pastor, focusing on Youth and Family Ministry as well as church administration.
